Marberg Gin
Marberg Gin hails all the way from Iceland, produced at the Thoran Distillery. Its botanical list is fairly traditional, with black pepper and grapefruit among the selection, aside from the addition of red seaweed (commonly known as Dulse), an Icelandic botanical. Among the citrus there's a wonderful umami note, giving it a unique flavour profile. Give this one a go in a Tom Collins, accompanied with a twist of grapefruit peel.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Peppery juniper leads into lively citrus, with an earthy floral note and slightly salty, savoury seaweed appearing towards the finish.
