
To create this exciting gin, The Wrecking Coast distillery in Tintagel macerate 12 botanicals in grain spirit for a fortnight before running through a computer controlled iStill (no, really). Meanwhile, the signature botanical, Cornish clotted cream, is cold distilled in a vacuum still before the two spirits are blended together!
Though clotted cream adds a creamy depth to the spirit, the prominent flavours are of wonderful garden-y floral notes and peppery spice. Recommended serves are either neat over ice or with tonic, strawberries and lime.
A creamy mouthfeel carries notes of vibrant, earthy juniper, vanilla pod and honeyed floral. Hints of angelica root and peppercorn stick around in the background.

I had a free sample in Sheppeys of Taunton and just had to have a bottle. As a newby to gin drinking, it certainly was a refreshing and delightful experience. It was great by itself but can be altered and enhanced by changing garnish, flavoured tonic water and so on. My favourite was with fever tree sicillian lemon tonic.
Tried this at The London Gin Club and it was my fave! Great with blueberries and lemon zest with Fever-Tree tonic. Had to buy a bottle!!!
Wow! Delicious gin. If you like a sweeter gin but without being over sweet this is amazing. Definitely creamy and smooth. I wondered how it would be with tonic but added Fever Tree and strawberries and it did not disappoint. It’s now in my top 5 (and I have over 80 in my cupboard!) Well done Wrecking Coast...you have surprised and delighted me!
