Outlander's Sam Heughan has managed to capture (and distil) the essence of Scotland's rugged landscapes with this addition to his Sassenach spirits range – Wild Scottish Gin! This London dry style gin is distilled with an array of foraged botanicals from the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland, where Heughan grew up.
A core of Scottish juniper is supported by rhubarb, heather, pine resin, bramble leaf, blaeberry, crabapple, and toasted oats to create a well-balanced classic that'll shine in a trusty G&T, garnished with a slice of apple. This gin has been winning awards left right and centre, including gold at the 2023 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, the Singapore World Spirits Competition, the Spirits Business Autumn Tasting, and the Beverage Testing Institute.
Juniper takes the lead, while soft waves of orchard fruit and florals balance delicate pine, bound by creamy, soft notes of soaked oats.
Light apple and fruits.
Juniper is balanced with notes of apple, rhubarb and some subtle floral notes from the heather.
Crisp, fresh fruits with some subtle underlying spice and earthy notes.

OK, I submitted a poor review as I was initially quite disappointed, finding it a bit dull. On further quaffing I've added an extra star - it doesn't have a distinctive flavour of its own but it is nonetheless smooth, complex and far more moreish than I thought at first taste. Apologies for dissing it, it's really pretty good.
I watch Outlander and am a fan of Sam/Jamie. I ordered this on spec and had really hoped that it would be delicious but, sad to say, I found it (whisper it ...) a bit dull. Pleasant enough but nothing distinctive or exceptional. Sorry Sam/Jamie, best stick to the acting.
A very smooth gin. Have yet to try it in a cocktail or with different mixers, just enjoyed it simply over ice or with soda water or light tonic to really taste the subtle flavours. This is a favourite.
It is not only perfect for cocktails, but also magical when consumed on its own. You can almost taste the exceptional Scottish plants and fruits in yout mouth.
Absolutely delicious- difficult to describe but smooth and mixes well with tonic or as a sipping gin - now my go to choice - hope it becomes more widely available but great service from MOM
