Outlander's Sam Heughan has managed to capture (and distil) the essence of Scotland's rugged landscapes with this addition to his Sassenach spirits range – Wild Scottish Gin! This London dry style gin is distilled with an array of foraged botanicals from the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland, where Heughan grew up.
A core of Scottish juniper is supported by rhubarb, heather, pine resin, bramble leaf, blaeberry, crabapple, and toasted oats to create a well-balanced classic that'll shine in a trusty G&T, garnished with a slice of apple. This gin has been winning awards left right and centre, including gold at the 2023 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, the Singapore World Spirits Competition, the Spirits Business Autumn Tasting, and the Beverage Testing Institute.
Light apple and fruits balance delicate pine, bound by creamy, soft notes of soaked oats.
Juniper is balanced with notes of apple, rhubarb and some subtle floral notes from the heather.
Crisp, fresh fruits with some subtle underlying spice and earthy notes.

I love it. I use Fever Tree rhubarb and raspberry tonic water as a mixer and it tastes amazing. Will definitely buy more and the price is good.
OK. It is a very smooth gin. Very nice. Does the taste justify the price. No way. Had it been cheaper I would purchase again , but not at this price. I also was not keen on the plastic bottle protector, there are much greener cardboard alternatives.
Just opened and tasted it. Delicious and with a little kick to it. Definitely worth it and I’ll be buying more when I need to
Got this as a gift for my mum who’s mad about Sam, so was disappointed to see that the bottle was not ‘full’. The seal was unbroken so probably happened during bottling process. I have compared to advertising photos & videos, as well as other unopened gin bottles from other brands. It’s only 1ml or so, but still for the price, have not seen that before on other bottles of gin.
I’ve just received my Sassenach gin today Friday 17th November so it’s ahead of schedule. I really appreciate a good quality gin so I’m looking forward to trying it.
