The Lickerish Tooth
Only fans of Guys and Dolls will understand why a company called The Lickerish Tooth would produce a gin called Sheep's Eye, but we do rather like this quirky creation. The plague doctors over at the Licker Mill use 10 botanicals including juniper, celery seed, black pepper and thyme, infusing them in spirit before redistilling. For a gin and tonic, they suggest a lime wedge garnish.
Quite sweet and floral - they have a hibiscus vodka, is there some in here? - working well with the juniper.
More juniper (this is a proper gin), citrus, cinnamon and honey, with cracked black pepper developing.
Crisp and refreshing with some peppery warmth lingering.

Don't let the funky bottle make you think this is a gimmicky gin. It's absolutely delicious and clean tasting, certainly in my top 10. That's out of over 130 I've tried.
Love this! Tried it on a gin platter at Rusty SHears in Whitby. He told me where to get a bottle and we drove straight over. wish we had bought more as we shared it with friends and it was soon gone within the week! We shall be going back for more very soon.
This is divine! Lovely complexity. On my top ten gin list.
Bought my first bottle whilst on holiday in Whitby. The lady in the shop was very knowledgable and sold it to me. The bottle and charm was what drew my attention.Just had the first drink and I'm very impressed, lovely flavour, different to other gins, I might share it with a very close friend!
Drink this at my local, Ship Inn, Marske - best gin I've tasted..........but woe is me they have run out ...........keep on reminding landlord to get more as it is excellent.
