The Lickerish Tooth
Only fans of Guys and Dolls will understand why a company called The Lickerish Tooth would produce a gin called Sheep's Eye, but we do rather like this quirky creation. The plague doctors over at the Licker Mill use 10 botanicals including juniper, celery seed, black pepper and thyme, infusing them in spirit before redistilling. For a gin and tonic, they suggest a lime wedge garnish.
Quite sweet and floral - they have a hibiscus vodka, is there some in here? - working well with the juniper.
More juniper (this is a proper gin), citrus, cinnamon and honey, with cracked black pepper developing.
Crisp and refreshing with some peppery warmth lingering.

I really enjoyed this gin, the design of the bottle and the effort gone in to making it really stood out. The wax and stamp was a nice touch. The gin was strong tasting, with some sweetness that was a refreshing difference to some other gins. Would definitely have again.
