All the way from Munich, Germany, comes The Duke Munich Dry Gin, featuring a selection of botanicals including orange blossom, ginger root, coriander, lemon peel, angelica root, lavender, cubeb and juniper, among others. The name comes from Henry the Lion, the Duke of Bavaria, who founded Munich in 1158.

I normally drink Tanqueray London Dry Gin but The Duke Munich Dry Gin gets a very, very close second place. If it was the same price as Tanqueray (in UK) it would be a tough choice. If you like Tanqueray my guess is that you will also like The Duke. My absolute favourite is Tanqueray 10, which has no equals.
