A gin made solely with botanicals that have been sent to space? Yeah, go on then! Juniper, coriander, cubeb pepper, fresh lemon peel, chamomile flowers, cardamom, dried bitter orange peel, cinnamon, liquorice root and angelica were all sent into the stratosphere at an altitude of at least 20km where they were exposed to extremely low pressures (after 18 or 19km the pressure is already so low that water and fluids in the body boil at body temperature!). Oh yeah, That Boutique-y Gin Company also used moon rock from a lunar meteorite as a botanical, because why not?! An unspeakably cool gin for anyone who ever dreamt of being a space explorer as a kid, or enjoys looking up at the stars, or simply loves gin!
Batch 2 is a release of 2,200 bottles.
Candied peels, starfruit, warming jupiter, no wait juniper, and lemon thyme.
Cassia and black pepper. Rounded citrus flesh sweetness, with a subtle savoury edge.
A touch of lemon sherbet, but it doesn't make things overly sweet as it's balanced by the coriander seed and notes of ginger beer and grapefruit.

As a sci-fi guy I just had to give this one a try, what a bonkers concept. The taste is fantastic, the botanicals are all there, deep flavours, and yet it is still far too easy to drink! I can't quite bring myself to give this the full 5 stars for the price (its 3 quid more than the other boutiquey ones, which Ive not tried), but can absolutely, wholeheartedly, recommend buying this gin.
This gin is altogether too easy to drink! I don't know that sending the botanical to space really does anything for the flavour, but it's a fun talking point and for the price I'm more than happy. I just wish the second batch was coming sooner!
I read the reviews and rolled my eyes however when I tried it I have to agree it is really very good From pessimist to convert will be ordering again !

You never expect something like this to be anything special when it comes to the liquid inside, but this is just astonishingly good gin. A+
