Tanqueray London Dry Gin weighs in at 41.3% ABV making it an ideal strength for cocktails. It boasts a phenomenally fruity, spicy palate with big zesty, citrusy top notes, using the same Tanqueray recipe since 1830 of Tuscan juniper, angelica, and coriander.
Aromatic. Cedar, juniper oil, a little citrus zest.
Huge juniper, spicy notes of orange and lemon peel, a little aniseed.
Long finish, very full and thick with juniper.
Unlike myself this gin is bold and uncomplicated. A go-to staple.
A decent tasty gin, great for cocktails. I don’t often buy this one as it’s not my favourite dry gin however is a good bar staple.
Bold - fruity - linear - no bitter after taste. No added gimmick ingredients. classic taste
A nice, average-tasting gin, but it has a bit more alcohol burn than others.
An incredibly versatile gin and the best of the Tanqueray line up. this will give you a good G&T, Negroni and even Martini (although no.10 or beefeater would make a better martini) at a price that cannot be bested. Much, much better than the likes of Gordons and Bombay Sapphire and if you are new to gin worth comparing as a herby/spicy forward with the likes of beefeater (floral forward) and plymouth (citrus forward) to benchmark. Any one of these 3 gins will appeal to the majority of gin-drinkers palates (although not everyone as perhaps indicated below).
