Sutors Gin

Distilled from local Scottish grain and boasting vapour-infused, hand-foraged botanicals including sea buckthorn, Sutors Gin takes its name from the North Sutor coastal plain where the distillery is based. After distillation the spirit is blended with Highland water, brought down to 45.4% ABV. Bring out the citrus notes from the sea buckthorn with a slice of pink grapefruit to garnish.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Green notes of juniper and rosemary, with liquorice sweetness, refreshing cucumber and citrus alongside a crack of black pepper, leading into a creamy grain finish.

Reviews for Sutors Gin
Buy a cheap gin or a whisky instead
To me this does not taste remotely gin like. It has a strong taste of whisky. Which doesn't really lend itself to tonic. The recommendation of grapefruit i think would make it a million times worse. Honestly, save your money, you'd be better off with a bottle of Gordons!

Avoid like the plague
Thought I'd accidentally drunk a measure of hand sanitizer but nope, turns out it was just the Sutors Gin... Its reminiscent of the Greek spirit Raki and has some whisky notes through it. Not remotely fresh and barely palatable.

Great taste
I’m usually fussy about what botanicals are used - don’t like the overperfumed varieties. This is a great dry gin with good flavour.

unique Gin!
Probably the only true Scottish gin. Every ingredient is local to the highlands. A unique Gin!
