Many of us here at MoM Towers have wanted to visit California, but for one reason or another, we've not hopped on a plane just yet (I think it's mostly for fear of grizzly bears and not being able to get a proper cup of tea).
However, the wonderful folks at St. George Spirits have provided us the next best thing, the Terroir Gin! Now in a 70cl bottle, its botanical selection of Douglas Fir, Coastal sage and Californian bay laurel gives it a magical nose that makes you really feel like you're stood in a Californian forest (with no chance of a grizzly sneaking up on you as an added bonus!).
You're out in nature. In a forest to be precise, surrounded by Douglas firs and woodsy herbal aromas.
Fresh, with more fir, pine and bay laurel alongside the coastal sage. Well-structured and moreish.
Evocative and very long with citrus and lingering herbaceous notes.
A huge favourite of ours, it's just so evocative. Superb stuff.

This gin is superb! Complex, balanced, delish! To the chaps at MoM: don’t let your fear of grizzlies keep you from visiting us in California — we haven’t had grizzlies here for more than 100 years! (You have to go to Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, or Alaska for a grizzly.) The same folks who make Terrior Gin also make an incredible single malt scotch, but good luck ever finding any. Cheers!
I had a bottle on my bar - prepared gin and tonic w/lime, sat down and finished reading a document. Forgot about the drink for 10 minutes or so - picked up, took a sip and WOW!!!! How wonderful to be surprised again - a truly spectacular flavor within this gin.
Yuk! Intense sage flavor that tastes like something in soap or potpourri. I might pour the rest of it down the drain. On the positive side, there seems to be alcohol in there.
This gin is so powerful in the mouth. A unique pine taste and a depth of flavor to the palate. Unique and fantastic
As most of the other reviewers point out: this gin is both very unique, and very delicious. Plain, in drinks, it doesn't matter, you're transported to the forest. My favorite gin.
