All the way from Ireland's County Donegal comes An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin, which wears its coastal influence on its sleeve. The botanical selection for this tipple includes five different varieties of locally-harvested seaweed, alongside six other specially selected botanicals.
Enjoyably savoury, with vegetal juniper bringing a hint of heat. Subtle lemon sweetness alongside sea salt and roast chestnut.
Brought a bottle back from Ireland with me without even trying it. My neighbor is also a gin drinker so I made us a gin and soda. This is the smoothest gin I have ever had. Very enjoyable to sip with friends!
Great salty herby gin, strong but in no way crude. Made in Ardara a place to visit. A new traditional whisky due in March 2025
I bought a sample of this to try, and I'll definitely be back for a full-size bottle. Some 'sea' flavour gins are juniper-with-a-hint-of-seaside, but this is the real deal. It's a proper coastal gin, dry and salty, with a lovely iodine tang. It reminds me of Archangel (astrigent) or Dà Mhìle (strong seaweed flavour). If you don't like Dà Mhìle you won't like this, but if you do then this is at least as good, if not a tiny bit better. I'll need to drink some more to be sure!
We found this as a special lot being sold at our local liquor store here in northern Finland. Great taste and makes a fab GT. Strongly recommend this ?
Absolutely delicious! We drink it with Elderflower Fevertree and it is fabulous. We have bought a bottle of the Santa Ana and can't wait to try it!
