Skully Smooth Wasabi Bottling Note

A wasabi flavoured gin is honestly the least you would expect from this Dutch company. Wasabi root, sweet orange, ginger and mint combine with Skully London Dry Gin for no reason other than Skully wanted them to. Distilled 100% grain at 41.8% ABV, the powerful aroma and silky-smooth taste makes it an ideal compliment for Japanese cuisine.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The wasabi is punchy and spicy (surprising nobody), but it is harnessed well with ginger and zesty lime. Cooling mint breathes through the character wonderfully for depth and clarity.

Skully Smooth Wasabi Reviews

Really nice.

Tried this yesterday at The Gin Tub in Brighton. I'm not really a gin drinker but this was lovely, so much so I had another (both doubles). Reckon I'll be ordering a bottle soon.

Sounds so wrong, but tastes so right!!

Tasted at a Gin Festival at Sandown Racecourse. I was scared to taste at first but OMG, this is amazing!! Had it with Ginger Ale and it's so weird but nice, unlike anything I've tasted. Difficult to explain it. I serve at home with Fentmans Pink Grapefruit Tonic and a slice of lime. Lovely.

Very interesting flavour

Tried this at the York Gun festival. Had it with the new Scweppes 1783 cucumber and mint tonic and hubby had his with the ginger ale. Garnished with ginger root and mint it was very unusual and pleasing.
