Lemons are a classic gin botanical, going back many decades indeed. The Sipsmith team happens to know a thing or two about this, and made its very own Lemon Drizzle Gin inspired by the citrus-fuelled gins on the early 1900s. It features loads of hand-peeled sundried lemon peels, alongside vapour-infused fresh lemons and even lemon verbena, along with Sipsmith's London dry gin at its heart, creating... Well, as you might expect, an extraordinarily lemony gin!
Fresh, tart and warming, the lemon is powerful, but is tempered well by savoury juniper, a pang of liquorice and a floral perfume quality that lifts it.
