A bright blue Portuguese gin from the Sharish range. Although no longer containing the colour changing magic of the butterfly pea flower, it's stil popular with its striking azure hue. Botanicals also include juniper, coriander, angelica root, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, lemon peel, strawberry and raspberry.
Loads of raspberry and strawberry notes up front. Stem ginger and coriander arrive in support, but the berries are the main attraction here.
Quite spicy at first - cinnamon and more ginger. Waves of lemon and angelica develop. Another burst of juicy berry notes later on.
Soft juniper and a pinch of leafy coriander.

Beautiful flavour, good nose. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it but we wonder why there was no ' Magic'? No change of colour at all, anyone help us out here. Our only thought was the use of a slimline tonic.
It's smooth and initially subtle, but has nice floral after taste, that tastes of raspberries and lemon, but it's not to over powering.
Most amazing gin. I generally don't like gin, but I tried this in my husbands Ginvent calendar and was so won over I bought a bottle to share with the family over xmas. Everyone who tried it loved it. The only thing that does raise a few eyebrows is the name of the flower that gives the drink its colour!
One of the nicest gins I've had the pleasure of trying. But if you prefer dry gins without strong botanicals give it a miss (more for me). Has a excellent summery floral flavour. The colour changing properties are just a fun bonus.
