Rivo Foraged Gin was inspired by the glory of Lake Como in Lombardy, Italy. The recipe makes use of some intriguing hand-picked botanicals, including salad burnet, winter savory, lemon balm and Breckland thyme, alongside traditional ingredients like juniper, angelica, coriander and cardamom.
Savoury herbs dominate the palate, thyme in particular standing out among the crowd. The core juniper notes are oily and slightly spicy, with angelica adds a hint of floral vanilla sweetness.
