Both That Boutique-y Gin Company and Renegade London Wine love doing things differently (and brilliantly), so it only makes sense that the pair have teamed up for something utterly fascinating (and also brilliant) - GrapeskGin! Renegade London Wine's pressed skins from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes have been steeped in the Boutique-y bunch's gin for several weeks, resulting in this spectacular liquid. The intensity and clarity of flavour coming from GrapeskGin is astonishing - it works phenomenally in a Bramble, we'll have you know.
Piney juniper at the fore, with dark red fruits, namely cherries in support. A very subtle hint of menthol alongside sweet strawberry jam and distinct red wine notes.
Light on the palate with pronounced, though not overpowering sweet fruit in the form of red grapes, with jammy berry and juniper undertones followed by subtle notes of orange oil.
A drying tannic finish balancing the lingering syrupy fruit sweetness.
An undeniably fruity and balanced gin that leaves you wanting more.
Wont buy this again. Stick to wine guys. Fair effort but way overpriced.
Delicious gin. A great alternative to Sloe gin. Highly recommended.
