The Lakes Gin comes from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, makers of The ONE Blended Whisky. For their gin, they use locally sourced juniper, as well as more botanicals from the surrounding areas, including bilberries, heather and meadowsweet, among other classic gin botanicals. Bright and sweet with fruity, floral qualities, accompanied by a good helping of citrus notes throughout.
Refreshing juniper and grassy vanilla, with a touch of floral orange developing deeper within.
One of the best gins I’ve tasted. Best sipped overlooking the Lakes in the Lake District!
