Here we have Procera's Green Dot Gin, produced in extremely small batches at the Kenyan craft distillery to celebrate what is so special about the Juniperus Procera tree and its local terroir. Released annually, the gin is made with juniper berries, juniper wood, and juniper tree foliage selected from individual terroirs and each bottle comes housed in a wooden presentation box, accompanied by a small jar of botanical garnish to sprinkle over your drinks. Glorious sipped on the rocks, and ideal for some very special Martinis.
Earthy, delicate and woody in style with subtle notes of pine forest combined with deep, intense, core aromas of green juniper.
Complex yet understated at first; initial flavors of buttery, rich juniper, vegetal herbs and stone fruit are revealed on a layered and mouth-filling journey. This is followed by earthy, green, and umami notes.
Gorgeous coconut lift towards the finish, which lingers and evolves for several minutes on a harmonious and savory palate.
