A wonderfully presented dry gin from Sunderland that features Persian lime as part of its botanical selection.
Juniper forward with some pretty green spices and intermingled coriander, lime and lemon notes.
Earthier spice, angelica, cardamom and fragrant juniper with a sweet citrus edge (think Starburst/Opal Fruit).
Fresh coriander and lime rice with a hint of chilli.

Grapefruit and ice favourite gin
Everyone’s tastes are different as you can gather from the extremely different reviews. I loved the strong taste, if you like strong spicier gins then this one is for you. I had a normal amount of plain tonic with it and thought it was one of the tastiest gins I’ve ever had.
Overbearing cardamom and pepper. No real balance at all, and pretty rough when sipped neat. This one needs a lot of tonic.....
Came across this gin in the 'Oliver Conquest" gin pub in London. Wow - full amazing complex flavour. I now I was a student in Sunderland many years ago, but I promise I am not biased, One of my all time favourites that I have introduced to others who have also really enjoyed this tipple
I came across this gin whilst on holiday in the summer and it was the first thing on my Christmas list alongside Gin Mare. I personally like gins that have a predominant flavour - cardamom in the Poetic Licence and rosemary in the Gin Mare. If you can't stand cardamom then steer clear of this but I think it's a great gin married with a premium tonic that is also smooth enough to drink on its own
