    Plymouth English Gin

A long-standing favourite tipple, Plymouth Gin was one of the few gins to have a geographic indication, obviously pertaining to its eponymous city. However, Plymouth Gin lost this indication in 2015, although it is still of course produced in the city. This is the original gin from the distillery, crafted from seven botanicals in a pot still with a rather short neck, and is blended with Dartmoor water. It is then bottled into the classic ‘shaving bottle’, with its distinctive green glass.

    Better than many

Lovely citrus note. I like how it is sweet, but has an enjoyable dry finish. Plymouth makes a great summer G&T. Not one I could drink all day and night though

    Gin-taste-ick! (pronounced Gintastick..)

It is the only Gin that tastes like Gin should taste, accompanied of course by Fever Tree tonic.

    Smoooooth

The best gin. Smooth with citrus overtones.

    Mrs. Margaret Coolen

My husband and I find Plymouth Gin by far the best of all those available. It does cost a little more, but it is well worth it. The trouble is, we find it very difficult to locate locally at our usual Supermarkets!
