Ojo De Agua
Ojo De Agua Dry Gin was produced by spirits expert Adrian Baumgartner, distiller Oliver Matter and revered Swiss musician Dieter Meier (from electropop duo Yello), who already had worked on a range of excellent Argentinian wines.
It was created in Matter-Luginbühl in Kallnach, Switzerland with botanicals such as juniper, cardamom, lemon peel from Tucumàn, orange peel, mate tea, angelica, rosemary and lavender, some of which were sourced from the Ojo de Agua Farm in Argentina.
This dry gin was then refined with a wine distillate from one of Meier’s Malbecs called Puro and a helping of blackberries from Meier's own land in Argentina (there's about 100g of blackberries in every litre of gin). It was triple distilled and bottled at 43% ABV.
Pine and floral lavender lead before lemon zest, blackberry and spice from cumin develop.
