It's safe to say the folks at Northern Fox like to experiment with gin flavours. This time they've used sustainably sourced Bojangles coffee beans from Guatemala to produce their Yorkshire Roasted Coffee Gin! Perhaps this will make for a particularly intriguing twist on an Espresso Martini...
Juniper forward with bright notes of orange, in the background there is rich mocha.
A rich mouthfull. Initially hit with rounded coffee married with almond bakewell alongside refreshing flashes of orange. All the while there is a lingering background of rich chocolate.
Medium finish with bitter dark chocolate.
Indulgent and deliciously rich.

This gin is unlike anything I've tried before and it's safe to say I was not disappointed! The coffee at the start was sharp but then was unexpectedly followed by a rich chocolate flavour, and an orange aftertaste. This would be delicious in an espresso martini- which I will definitely be trying next!!
