Melifera
Fantastically floral French gin, Melifera is organically produced with an array of botanicals including hand-picked immortelle flowers grown on the French Atlantic island of Oleron. The brand is committed to sustainable practices and preserving biodiversity, growing its own immortelle vines, supporting the Black Bee Conservatory in Oleron, and joining in action to preserve local sand dunes. 40ml Melifera Gin
20ml Fresh lemon juice
20ml sugar syrup
Sparkling water
Egg white (optional)
Begin by combining the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white in a shaker or mixing jug, with a good helping of ice. Stir vigorously to get it nice and chilled, and create some froth! Strain into a tall glass and top up with chilled sparkling water. Superb.
Zesty with big wafts of sunny coast florals, a crisp kick of juniper keeps things in check, whilst aromatic petals, a touch of liquorice and anise follow up on the finish.
