This unusual offering joins our exclusive Master of Malt collection, and it's a superb demonstration of how a little bit of time in a cask can transform a spirit's profile. In this instance, the cask previously held Sauternes, a sweet French wine, and the spirit that was subsequently filled into it? Gin! The result is a splendid combo of vibrant botanicals, delicately creamy oak, and sweet citrus. A release of 67 bottles.

Pine oil and juniper open the way for dried citrus peels. There's a touch of lemon meringue in the distance, alongside lemon drizzle, and gooseberry fool.
Soft oak and vanilla join vibrant, herbaceous botanicals. There are notes of delicately stewed plums alongside bright, crisp juniper, and a touch of marmalade.
