Banyuls is a French sweet fortified wine produced in the southeast of the country, close to the Spanish border. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fill a cask with it for a while, then, once that cask has soaked up plenty of character from the wine, empty it out and fill it with gin? It's just the sort of thing we wonder about all the time, and luckily, we had all the apparatus to give it a go right here at MoM Towers. Aged for 19 months in a Banyuls wine treated octave cask, 60 bottles now join our exclusive Master of Malt collection.
