King's Hill
All the way from the Pentland Hills in Scotland comes King's Hill Gin, made with a combination of botanicals that includes juniper, coriander, orris root, elderflower and gorse. The name is a reference to a bet made by King Robert the Bruce and Sir William Sinclair of Roslin - not a reference to the classic cartoon 'King of the Hill'.
Liquorice, soft orange, thyme and menthol. Rather cooling - ought to make for great refreshing cocktails.

Got this as a Christmas present this year . Have to say this is something special, the bottle itself is a real beauty and is certainly not a case of all fur coat and no nickers. The liquid stands up to the bottle and works great with the Med tonic and grapefruit. Definitely worth a go!
To be fair, this gin's taste is very refined and definitely a cut above the rank and file, BUT, apart from mixing it with grapefruit/fever tree Mediterranean, which does give it a nice edge, and it is very smooth, I can't say it's very exciting. Biggest problem is that if you try and vary the mixer/garnish any subtle flavours it has just vanish and it becomes bland. It's worth a taste, but a whole bottle at £40?, don't expect anything amazing.
I have ordered A LOT of gin from this site and this is simply one of the very best I've ever tasted
WOW. Possibly one of the best gins in the world. Very smooth and beautiful bottle design. Perfect straight or with Mediterranean tonic or ginger. I won't buy another brand. 5* Kings Hill
Superb quality gin, goes really well with ginger ale, ice and orange slices. Probably the best gin in Scotland just now, way better than eden Mill.
