King's Hill
All the way from the Pentland Hills in Scotland comes King's Hill Gin, made with a combination of botanicals that includes juniper, coriander, orris root, elderflower and gorse. The name is a reference to a bet made by King Robert the Bruce and Sir William Sinclair of Roslin - not a reference to the classic cartoon 'King of the Hill'.
Liquorice, soft orange, thyme and menthol. Rather cooling - ought to make for great refreshing cocktails.
I originally bought this as a gift for a friend but after it spent a few nights on the side, waiting to be wrapped, I was too tempted and decided to try it for myself. Although I don't have vast scope of gin knowledge, I found that this gin had a very appealing, distinctive flavour compared to other gins I have tried thus far. I now need to go and buy a replacement bottle for my friend ?!
I was recommended this gin by a friend, really enjoyed the unique flavour and I definitely would want to gift this to friends and family, in the future, I can't wait to drink this again, I will be purchasing another one soon! Very grateful to my friend for their recommendation, great choice!
Kings hill is a lovely smooth drink easy on the palette one of my favourite of all gins
The smell when you pop the vino lock top is awesome. Then when you taste this product it is outstanding, I am not a connoisseur so am not able to pick out all the notes that others refer to but I do get the citrus and other flavours that I think are marvellous. Tried it with fever tree Mediterranean tonic and pink grape fruit and normal tonic and lemon, both beautiful. Really tasty gin, one of the best I have tasted
A lovely smooth gin easy on the palette. Very enjoyable Kings Hill is the one for me
