John Robert’s London Dry Bottling Note

A marvellous London dry gin here, produced with an array of eleven classic botanicals, including the likes of black tea, lemon peel, cassia, and liquorice root, to name a few! The delicate botanicals are processed separately from the more robust ones, using some pretty innovative techniques – ultrasonic sound vibration and vacuum pressured maceration! These methods enable each botanical to shine through with a silky smooth texture, making it ideal for a classic G&T and top notch for cocktails too.

Bold juniper leads the way, crisp green notes of pine are followed by sweet citrus, soft spice, and earthy wafts of black tea, liquorice, and cardamom.

Superb gin! A great ethos backed up by exceptional quality!
Excellent gin! Smooth and balanced with an inviting aroma. It has a great mix of interesting flavours, while just keeping that edge of juniper on the forefront. The lemon and dill garnish suggestion work perfectly and underlines this gins superb contrast of classic design and modern ingenuity!

My absolute fave 😋
John Robert's is our absolute favourite gin. It's just so smooth and the flavour is sublime. If I don't get a bottle as a gift for Christmas (I've dropped enough hints) I'll be very cross.

Smooth
Been waiting for a while to get my hands on a bottle of this locally made gin! It came highly recommended as an all rounder - good for cocktails and with tonic! Very smooth and easy to drink with a good balance of citrus but not too much!

Up there with the best!
I’ve been drinking John Robert’s since it’s launch earlier this year and , as a seasoned gin drinker of 40+ years , it’s become one of my favourites. Perfect in a gin and tonic, and amazing in a classic 5:1 dry martini. Flavours are so subtle , well balanced and smooth. It tastes fantastic, what more can you ask.

Wonderful new addition to the gin market
This is a wonderfully smooth gin, juniper forward but the complex botanicals really come through especially the black tea and liquorice notes which means it is lovely with a sprig of dill garnish (as advised by the distiller!)

Amazing gin, amazing company, must buy
I had this on a night out recently and WOW. I’m not really a big gin drinker but this has an amazing flavour profile - really well balanced and doesn’t overwhelm the palate with floral flavours like a lot of gins do - I was hooked and immediately bought a bottle. Not only that but the company is run by two passionate, properly cool people, and it’s always good to support indie makers rather than the big guys. Highly highly recommend!
