The Misty Isle Gin from Isle of Skye Distillers (on the eponymous Inner Hebridean island) is made using 11 botanicals - juniper, orris root, liquorice root, black cubebs, coriander, grains of paradise, lemon peel, cassia bark and a secret botanical. This secretive botanical only comes from Skye. Mysterious!
Liquorice, cracked black pepper and subtly floral juniper.
Cassia gives it a spicy start, while lemon and orris develop in the background, balancing the palate.
Waxy orange peel and fresh juniper warmth.

Wonderful Gin, purchased from the distillery direct in August and great to meet the owner. Sadly nearly at the end of 2nd bottle , kept for myself, friends polished off first bottle after enjoying so much, so going to have to order another bottle or two soon
Beautiful gin, well rounded taste with Citrus aftertones.
Best I've tasted yet. Love it with orange peel, lemon and thyme and even neat!!
Quite nice, very similar to Harris.
