Isle of Bute Island Gin was inspired by... Well, by the Isle of Bute itself! Head distiller Simon Tardivel wanted to create a refreshing and tropical expression, and ended up getting a little more inspiration from a salsa that his aunt used to make. Mint and pineapple feature here, alongside a helping of herbs, making for a vibrant, zesty gin that works marvellously in summery cocktails.
Softly tangy with pineapple, though spicy touches of juniper and cardamom, as well as leafy coriander and mint, keep it from getting out of hand.
Isle of Bute gins are my absolute favourite they are very impressive and each gin makes a perfect cocktail too. A must for any drinks cabinet / bar.
