Icelandic Mountain Spirits
The eagle has landed - specifically the Icelandic Eagle Gin from Icelandic Mountain Spirits. Features a botanicals selection along the lines of juniper, ginger, angelica, coriander, orange and lemon, and blended with pure Icelandic water, this will make for excellent cocktails and mixed drinks.
Herbaceous juniper and coriander, with a touch of the vanilla-y florals coming through from the angelica.
Did not enjoy this gin at all, the botanicals are not very well balanced and you are left with a chemicalish aftertaste.
I bought this for a close friend at Christmas. Her description was only one word - “divine”!
Not bad, but not great either bit to herbal for our liking.
Really nice can get it in Costco for 22 pound tho.
