For its Height of Arrows Gin, the Holyrood Distillery took inspiration from another spirit – whisky! Not so much the flavours of whisky, but rather that whisky manages to show off a huge variety of flavours while only being made with a handful of ingredients. As such, Height of Arrows Gin brings it all back to juniper, the core gin botanical, for a drinking experience that is focussed and fantastic.
Oily, earthy, subtly peppery juniper, with a hint of fresh pine vibrancy.
There is something quite old Tom about this gin. It is a little bit sweet and very Juniper heavy. Also very smooth and makes a fantastic gin and tonic.
Smooth, sipp-able neat, bees wax provides great mouth feel. The Sea salt is a great addition! who knew keeping it simple would be this good
