Hermit

Billed as the 'the only Dutch Coastal Gin', Hermit Gin was hand-crafted in small batches in the Netherlands. It features eight all-natural botanicals including juniper, coriander, Jacmel* orange peel, and seawater from Oosterschelde. It was distilled in a copper-pot still and the final product is said to pair excellently with seafood!
Hermit was named after the hermit crab, which was inspired by the story of one particular hermit crab that was born without a shell. It eventually found shelter in an empty bottle. This became the symbol for the brand and the idea that it's home is everywhere. Similar to how anywhere Tom Waits lays his head, that's where he calls home.
*It's in Haiti.
Bright citrus notes are up-front with hints of pepper, cassia and thyme honey. A wave of fresh, coastal notes adds salinity and depth.
