While the Harahorn Norwegian Gin is named after a mountain in Norway, it's also inspired by the story of a hare with horns. A more terrifying prospect has never crossed our minds. Despite striking fear into our hearts, this gin is rather pleasing indeed, making use of Røros juniper berries, Nordmarka blueberries, Grimstad rhubarb and bladderwrack, Oppdal angelica and Sunndal wild marjoram.
Juniper and blueberry always go together handsomely. The subtle tartness of rhubarb plays well the pairing, too.
Good taste, changing nuance after a sip. Elegant.
I am very pleasantly surprised by the depth of taste that this gin offers. True power in a small albeit beautiful bottle! I can only recommend this to be part of gin lover's collection.
Tried it yesterday on a Scandinavian Airlines flight. Truly wonderful gin - the best. I hope I can buy it when I return to Australia!
I love this gin and am looking to purchase some for my bar in Italy. Right now I have 3 bottles as I just returned from Trondheim. It is the best gin I have ever had.
