
An impressive Old Tom Gin from Greenhook Ginsmiths in Brooklyn, New York. Taking inspiration from history of this slightly-sweetened style of gin, they distil this tipple using juniper alongside exotic spices. Following that, they allow it to mature for a year in bourbon casks before a finishing period in Oloroso Sherry casks, then bottle it at a generously high ABV, meaning it'll stand out brilliantly in cocktails and mixed drinks.
Heady vanilla and floral juniper, followed by obvious Sherried sweetness. A touch of amaretto, too.
Maple syrup, cardamom, menthol and a hint of crisp orchard fruit - rather whisky-esque.
Continued creaminess, with an almost saline touch of fino Sherry.
