Green Man
Well, this is something rather special – the world's first spirit packaged in a cardboard bottle! Created by the fabulous carbon-conscious folks at Silent Pool, Green Man Woodland Gin is inspired by the forests of Surrey, with plenty of pine and tree sap character. The bottle is completely recyclable and made from 94% recycled paper, it is also five times lighter and has a carbon footprint six times lower than a glass bottle, we're super impressed!
Woodland aromas, pine and birch, tree sap and vegetal herbs, bright juniper with wafts of apple and spicy bark.
While visiting the Silent Pool distillery recently, I tried this gin. It’s delicious. If a walk through Surrey’s forests could be turned liquid, Green Man Woodland Gin would be it; resiny, pine and juniper heavy, with a light sweetness. A new firm favourite. Cheers, Silent Pool!
