
A navy strength Italian gin from Ginepraio! Produced in Tuscany, Amphora is distilled from three varieties of organic wild juniper, along with roeship, helycrisum and other traditional botanicals. Interestingly, it's been rested in a cocciopesto jar before bottling, which looks a bit like terracotta. Thanks to the micro-oxygenation in the jar, the gin evolves while it rests, and is eventually bottled at 57% ABV.
Oily, piney juniper is supported by sweeter citrus peel, with fragrant rose balanced by a balsamic note.
