Pink Gin from the Gin Lane 1751 range, which harks back to the Victorian era with its style and flavour profile. This is made by infusing their gin with bitters, giving it a good kick of spice, as well as the pink hue from which the style of gin takes its name. Gin Lane 1751 takes its name from the Gin Act of 1751 and the William Hogarth painting of Gin Lane.
I was expecting this gin to be sweet, definitely not! It’s fragrant and very refreshing with fever tree aromatic tonic and slice of orange. Unexpected surprise!
This is a pink gin in the true sense of the name, no its not a fruit flavoured gin but one infused with bitters true to the name. Its aromatic and tastes great with a fever tree aromatic tonic lots of ice and a slice of orange, try it, its very different.
Left me needing a glass of Gordon's. Just awful
Brought for me as a birthday present and I expected it to be over sweet . How wrong was I ... it was amazing , absolutely lovely . Definitely one to purchase for myself.
A gin that was bought as a gift - I don't really drink pink gin but blimey this is a fabulous gin. The bitters really bring out the whole experience... will definitely add to the cabinet :)
