One of two new additions to the Greenall's Gin range - the first in more than 250 years! Greenall's Wild Berry Gin is made by infusing raspberries and British blackberries in Greenall's Gin, resulting in a fruity twist on their classic recipe. Ought to go rather well in a Bramble as well as other vibrantly fruity cocktails.
I reluctantly tried this gin when it was bought for me as a gift as normally I am a stuck in the mud for my gin favourites. As it was a gift, I gave it a go and was disappointed. When I opened the bottle I straight away smelt cheap vodka and no hint of berries. I tried this with lemonade with made it a little sweeter though could not taste any berries. I added fresh berries to taste which made it very slightly more drinkable though I definitely would not buy this or recommend it. Harsh flavour and taste and very disappointing.
Absolutely disgusting! Tastes like a cheap vodka and I can't really taste the berries at all. Had two glasses with tonic which gave me a horrible headache the next day. never experienced that with any other gin I had before. Waste of money, definitely not worth the price!
The only gin I drink!
I've tasted Gins much more expensive than Greenall's Wild Berry and with much worse quality. You can feel the light taste of the fruits, which for me is excellent.
No berries taste & really harsh gin. Won’t buy again ? If you like rough gin this is for you. If you like smooth gin don’t buy it ?
