Expensive here in Canada, about $23.99 before tax for a 750ml bottle. For that amount of money, I was expecting a lot more. Taste and smell like cheaply distilled flavoured vodka.
Yes, it's at the niggardly 37.5%, but supermarkets are now offering at cheap deals, so that's some compensation. What has now infuriated me is that the litre bottle I've just bought has had inserted into it's neck a silly plastic device which you might have guessed was meant to make it pour more neatly - or just maybe to produce a standard measure. It does neither: it just makes the stuff dribble out in tiny amounts. And you can't prise it out. Too frustrating to be worth any cheap price.
I just bought an "American" bottle of this and it is 40%. Not sure why there are different versions, but at $8.95 for a liter bottle it was worth it.
Would serve this to an acquaintance...but not a friend. Acker score 2/5
I love this gin! Soft, not overpowering!
