Produced by the wonderful Foxdenton Estate, this is a smartly packaged bottle of their excellent Damson Gin - a rich, jammy, fruity spirit which works beautifully in a Damson Fizz (a mix of Champagne and Damson Gin).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Ripe, rich nose with all kinds of berry fruit, hints of strawberry jam, earthy juniper and black pepper.

Palate

Bittersweet palate with almond oil, allspice and damson jam. Hints of tangy plums, prunes, cherry drops and juniper.

Finish

Long, fruity finish. Mixed spices, juniper and plum jam.

Overall

A ripe, rich, jammy gin-based liqueur.

A luxurious tipple

This is a magnificent liqueur. The flavour bursts in your mouth... it's fruity, it's sweet, it's rich, slightly syrupy, and goes down so easily. My partner's father introduced me to this... we spent a Sunday afternoon merrily putting the world to rights. I've bought us a bottle to share on Christmas afternoon. If you're looking for something different, try this... you won't be disappointed.

Rich and stunning

This is beautiful. It’s sweet, rich. You can taste the fruit and unlike most liqueur gins, the gin too! There is absolutely nothing synthetic about the taste here. Quality, refreshing and the only disadvantage is that the once opened, despite the 70 cl bottle, it’s gone far too quickly!
