Fatty's Organic Gin wears the love for its hometown of Dulwich on its sleeve, featuring dill as its star botanical - Dulwich historically means 'the meadow where dill grows'. The producers worked closely with the Soil Association to ensure that the resulting gin would certified organic (a feat which they achieved!).
Enjoyably herbaceous, with basil, mint and lemon balm developing on the palate alongside clear juniper and dill influence.
For me this gin is perhaps too delicate for my palate. I didn't feel like theres enough going on and it left me a little disapointed especially at this price point.
This gin is absolutely fabulous in cocktails, it gives a really good base to any classic cocktail. That said, as any great gin should be capable of, it also makes a very light and refreshing G&T. It has been great to get me through these summer months! I also like the fact that it is organic and I think you can really taste the cleanliness and quality of the ingredients. I cant wait to see what else this brand has in the pipeline...….
I have to disagree with the comments, i found the gin charactreless and overpriced. The bottle does look fabulous, but that is where the story ends.
Ordered a job lot of different gins - and decided to pick something a bit different and found this Organic Gin. Funny name but pleasantly surprising. Incredibly light and refreshing, which was perfect with the brief heatwave we had. Could well be a staple in the drinks cabinet during the summer months. And as its 100% organic is apparently 'good for me'! Bought with Williams (Chase) Dry Gin (5*), Whitely Neill Rhubarb (3*), Adnams First Rate (4.5*), Hills & Harborough (3*)
Delicious gin! Bought one for me and one to give as a gift as it comes in a gorgeous bottle. Really easy drinking and love the fact it’s organic. I followed them on social media and got some ideas on how to serve it too. I wouldn’t normally put cucumber in gin but it works with this one! I would definitely recommend.
