A citrusy London Dry from East London Liquor Company made with fresh orange and lime peels, exotic miyagawa (a type of Japanese satsuma), douglas fir and cubeb berries! Bottled by That Boutique-y Gin Company, this is one not to be missed!
This is a release of 930 bottles.
Lemongrass and key-lime pie. Earthy juniper at the core, boosted by green pine notes.
Fizzy orange, lemon sorbet and juicy tropical fruit. Enjoyably creamy, with a subtle prickle of spicy juniper.
Waxy mixed peels, warming pine needle and vanilla.
A refreshing, citrus-forward expression from the East London Liquor Company.
I definitely get the Key Lime pie suggested by the author of the tasting note above, but there's an epic sort of 'richness' that underpins all this on the nose. It becomes much more pronounced when taking on the palate - the other citrus comes along for a ride too, and the quality of the base spirit immediately lets itself show. Top marks TBGC. Top Marks.
