    East London Liquor Co. Gin

The fantastic East London Liquor Co.'s very own London dry gin is gloriously creamy and wonderfully flavoursome, plus it works excellently in all sorts of cocktails and mixed drinks. We're rather fond of it in a French 75, and the distillers themselves reckon its great in a Red Snapper. Versatile stuff, clearly. Its botanical selection includes juniper, angelica, cardamom, coriander, cubeb, grapefruit peel and lemon peel. Excellent value for money, too.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Opens with soft lemon drizzle cake and fresh, leafy coriander. This continues with subtly sweet angelica and oodles of rich, oily juniper - interestingly developing hints of olives in oil too!

    Palate

Magnificently creamy mouthfeel, complimented by the crisp citrus peels and earthy juniper. The spiciness of the cardamom and cubeb comes through here - it's not in your face, but certainly quite noticeable.

    Finish

Continued enjoyable oiliness, with final glimmers of refreshing juniper lasting on the finish.

    Definitely recommend this gin!

A great gin at a very reasonable price. Much nicer than most of the more expensive gins. Only negative is the packaging.. it looks really cheap. I still have one of the old black and white labelled bottles which I have refilled numerous times!!

    Brilliant cocktail gin

A well-balanced gin that works really well in cocktails. Strong enough to do what gin should, whilst not being too fussy in the flavour to over-run other cocktail ingredients. Drinks very well on its own or with tonic too, to be an ideal "standard" gin.

Best gin for the price and much better than more expensive gins

I'm no connoisseur, I'm no gin expert, but what I can tell you is that I have a few more expensive gins that seem a complete waste of money by comparison to this gin. I'm addicted to it and as they say in the reviews, it's versatile, it's full of flavour and it doesn't busy the bank, so this is now my fave and easy go to gin for many reasons

    Tasty and a great price

You simply cannot go wrong with this gin. Perfectly balanced, simple, refreshing and lends itself well to all of the many tonics I have tried with it. Great price too and makes you wonder why you would ever need to pay £40+ for a bottle of gin again.

This is the best 'Everyday' Gin on the market by a country mile.

This is the best 'Everyday' Gin on the market by a country mile. East Londons Brighter (Formally No 1) and Louder (formally No 2) are amazing and a real treat as a G&T or in a Negroni or Martini but this Gin is perfect for that 'go to' every day Gin as an absolute bargain at the price.
