Distilled in the Sussex countryside, Contractor’s Classic Dry Gin is made using carefully selected botanicals including classic juniper, but the stars of the show are hibiscus flower and lemongrass. It’s made by the DedBest Distillery, founded by friends Bob Dedman and Damian Best, former construction workers who turned their dream of creating a distillery in to a reality.
Smooth and clean with fresh citrus and fragrant floral notes.
If you wanted a gin with very strong character this gin provides it in spades. One of the best gins period. Please never make this expensive and unreachable like so many gins at forty quid plus. This is a worthy winner at a good price. Exceptional in every way.
The MoM description doesn't do this justice! Of our gin collection of circa 40 bottles, this one is right up there; superbly balanced and incredibly flavoursome; you really get the lemon and cinnamon! We've met Damian a couple of times at events, a top man with a clear passion for what he's producing. This will be a staple for us!
This is one of the greats, fantastic fresh crisp citrus flavour and tastes fantastic even without tonic. One to recommend for sure.
Probably the tastiest gin I've ever had. You can really taste the botanicals and it smells incredible!
Quite outstanding. Aromatic and fruity but managing to retain the essential dryness of true gin. Best served with plain Indian tonic.
