Conker Spirit was founded by Rupert Holloway in the wonderful county of Dorset, home to many local beers but very little in the way of spirits. In walks Dorset Dry Gin from Dorset's first gin distillery! Conker Spirit's Dorset Dry Gin is distilled using British wheat spirit, New Forest spring water and 10 botanicals, including some rather distinctively-Dorset-inspired botanicals - Gorse Flowers, Samphire and Elderberries.
A summer meadow aroma leads among the subtle sweetness of citrus and icing sugar. Bright juniper percolates throughout.
Soft and supple, the palate begins with plenty of classic juniper elements among a berry jam sweetness and an underlay of more icing sugar. There’s a touch of spearmint here too.
There is a little damp, earthy spice and orange oil in the finish.
A wonderful take on dry gin that would shine with a helping of elderflower tonic.

One bad review for this finest of gins. I can ony assume they were not drinking Conker. I suspect someone had drunk all their gin and refilled the bottle with something else!
A really fantastic product. Smooth, sophisticated and must have with fever tree tonic.
What a fab xmas gift from some lovely friends. This one has definitely been added to my fav list of new Gins.
Smooth? Perhaps if you ignore all the sugar cloying to your teeth and mouth. Horrendously sweet gin, to call this a dry gin is absurd.
Wow, best gin ever - such a smooth drink and my favourite gin without a doubt. Just served simply with Fevertree tonic and ice no garnish needed.
