From French distiller Comte de Grasse comes its inaugural gin, 44°N! The spirit is inspired by perfume production methods, and is made using ultrasonic maceration, vacuum distillation and CO2 supercritical extraction. That all sounds very high tech and fancy, but in fact these techniques are also incredibly sustainable and efficient. The list of botanicals is extensive, with cade (a species of juniper), verbena, everlasting (a golden flower), horse parsley, samphire, lavender, mimosa, grapefruit, patchouli and Sichuan pepper among a few of them. Woody juniper and a pinch of salt, with a burst of sweet and bitter citrus followed by an aromatic floral bouquet, a creamy note on the finish supported by warming pepper spice.

The most exquisite gin I have ever tasted, bar none. I love French perfumes and I am tempted to dab this behind my ears! The exotic taste lingers on and on and arouses taste buds I never knew I had! Tasting 44deg N is an experience I will not forget. Thank you to my daughter, as it was her Christmas gift to me.
This is a gin that should be sipped over large chunks of ice. It’s stunning and even though there are quite a lot of botanicals they all work together to create a smooth taste with a pop of zing at the end.
Very exotic gin. I love my gins but this is unique. Love it on the rocks. I know that's not how people typically have gin but this is really brilliant.
My taste buds are dancing, wow unlike any other gin I have tasted. Complex yet very smooth and the packaging is stunning. I'm loathe to share it!
