OX44 Gin

Taking its name from the postcode in which it is produced, OX44 is a handcrafted London Dry gin from the Oxfordshire-based Chalgrove Artisan Distillery. Botanicals include juniper berries and coriander, as well as black peppercorn, cardamom and Angelica root. Don't fret if this gin looks slightly hazy - to retain flavour it has not been chill filtered, resulting in the retention of the natural oils of the gin. Best served over ice with Indian tonic water and a slice of pink grapefruit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

A smooth gin with notes of pine and juniper spice. Subtle notes of heather appear alongside citrus lemon tones.

Great Gin
I tried this gin last night, neat with ice. Absolutely perfect. Cannot wait to try in a cocktail.

Not the best!
So far I’m not so sure about this gin, it has a very strange and strong aftertaste.

I’ll try it again with grapefruit but i wouldn’t buy it again and wouldn’t recommend to people.

A fine classic gin !
One of the best Gins I have tasted. It is worthy of it's award and well worth the money. I prefer it neat as opposed to with a mixer; it is very smooth with no afterburn.

An Awesome Gin
I have been trying and drinking gin since it was illegal for me to do so. This is simply the most delicious concoction I have ever tried!

Perfectionist
Quite simply the best Gin I have tasted. It evolves with every addition to the drink. To really understand it. First taste it neat. Then with some ice. Then again with some Indian tonic water and finally add the garnish of grapefruit and sup again. It is so smooth. A fab drink.

Best in country (UK) according to the LSC 2019
I tried this incredible Gin recently at the Daily Telegraph Gin Experience. I was fortunate enough to meet the creators of this Gin, Jenny and Bob. It really does taste smooth and was awarded the best gin in the UK at the recent London Spirits Competition.

A cloudy Gin and Tonic
Wow, this is a good gin. It turns cloudy when you add ice and tonic! Definitely worth a try!

A fantastic gin!
This gin is incredibly smooth, given the fact it is 45% ABV. I will definitely be buying another bottle.
