Caorunn gin hails from the Scottish highlands, so it's no wonder the strongest expression in the range was dubbed Highland Strength - standing at a robust 54% ABV. It's produced at the Balmenach Distillery, and sees five locally foraged Celtic botanicals and six traditional botanicals infused into the spirit including rowan berry, heather, coul blush apple and dandelion.
A good helping of peppery juniper, leading into a sweeter fruity note, a touch of heather and a lingering fresh grassiness with a touch of dried herbs.

Having enjoyed Caorunn Small Batch Gin, I couldn't resist trying the Highland Strength version. It is enjoyable enough, but I actually prefer the 41.8% Small Batch gin for taste...
Another exceptional gin from my favourite gin distillery, this one's great for cocktail making.
